I have never maxbet doubted the influence of Moussa Dembele and his display against Rangers last Sunday at Hampden was absolutely top drawer.
If I was watching that game in a managerial or scouting capacity I would have walked away from Hampden thinking that I’d be prepared to spend whatever it took to sign him.
I actually thought he was unplayable. You tell from the opening minutes just how in the mood he was for it and those boys in the Rangers defence were unable to get anywhere near him.
To me, he has just needed a run to get his fitness up. It was a difficult season because of the back-to-back hamstrings maxbet that he picked up at the end of last term and the start of this campaign but I just think his performance at Hampden underlined his class.
The penalty itself told you a lot about his character and composure his temperament even when the heat is on. On a stage like that you know full well that if you are going to attempt that kind of penalty then you have to score otherwise you look pretty foolish. To have that level of self-belief is exceptional, especially at that age. maxbet
